Mobile Architect will play a key role in the delivery of our Mobile roadmap and capabilities while adopting the latest technologies to further engage our mobile users. This individual is a technical champion who is a leader in their domain of expertise. This individual is expected to:
- Key champion to architect, build, iterate and manage our mobile portfolio at CTC
- Research and maintain an extensive knowledge base of current digital technology advancements, trends and directions for mobile platforms and capabilities, preferably in the Retail environment
- Develop and implement technology aligning with overall digital architecture frameworks and standards
- Perform analysis and solution design for all aspects of the mobile portfolio
- Make recommendations on strategic and architectural direction
- Ensure that code developed is compliant with latest design standards and best-practices
- Help to raise the overall skill and quality level through pairing, design/code reviews, and mentoring
- Push forward our testing process including unit, integration- and functional testing
- Participate in the design phase of projects in the Digital space consisting of new implementations, technology upgrades and infrastructure solutions for a wide range of business needs

Required skills:

Our client, a global manufacturing firm is looking for a Finance Manager in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the Controller, this role offers a large amount of responsibility and opportunity to progress.
In this Finance Manager role you will be responsible for the management of periodic financial statements for certain group entities, as well as board reporting, regulatory filings, and taxes.
Financial Reporting: prepare financial statements for certain group entities in accordance with IFRS, including senior management and board reporting. Contribute to presentation of consolidated group financial statements, including related annual disclosures and analyses.
Management accounting: work closely with the Financial Accounting Manager to develop various financial and operational analyses including input to financial budgets, revenues, and corporate expenses.
Taxation: Ensure compliance with various regulatory and tax requirements and remittances coordinating with tax accountants.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Public accounting background
- Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, ICAS)
- Solid knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP/UK GAAP

Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Strong familiarity with the design, development, debugging, and troubleshooting of analog/digital/mixed-signal circuit
- Solid knowledge in electronic circuit design and development of embedded systems
